uncanny likeness
I was approached by Proximity London and asked to exhibit my series Uncanny Likeness. We decided to photograph the creative staff at the agency to create their own unique exhibition. My portraits are made by digitally splitting a face and creating two hybrids; both exhibiting a created symmetry – two left sides and two right sides. Despite the obvious symmetry, there is no precedent for symmetry in the natural world of mammals, the viewer will generally accept the images as true.
